DADA is art. Not because of what we draw, but because of why we draw and why we do it there. It’s a deeply relational experiment where strangers converse visually and form powerful bonds, overcoming geography, language, age and class. Common Place, 2022, is a genealogy through which we challenge the market’s view of DADA as a commodity. It’s a responsive map expressed as a reverberation of differences, singularities and voices that allows small stories to emerge, and makes visible all those characters who, with the sum of their ideas, sensibilities, differences, struggles, visions and failures, contribute intrinsic value to our community.

DADA is a global and decentralized community of artists, technologists, thinkers, researchers, and collectors. DADA’s ecosystem stems from its visual conversation platform where people around the world speak to each other through drawings, spontaneously creating collaborative art. DADA pioneered several NFT collections, including The Creeps & Weirdos (2017), the first project to encode automated royalties on smart contracts. It is currently building The Invisible Economy, an alternative socio-economic system that protects intrinsic motivations while creating collective wealth.
